Fridge Food Terms of Use

1. Who these terms are with

These Terms are between you and RACKET LTD, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17324322. Contact email: support@ourownracket.com.

2. What Fridge Food is

Fridge Food is a smart kitchen app that helps users track food inventory, use-by dates, leftovers, recipes, shopping lists and optional nutrition goals. It is for general household food management and wellbeing.

Fridge Food is not a medical device, healthcare service, dietetic service, emergency service or food safety authority.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 to use Fridge Food. You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping your login details secure, and telling us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

4. Food safety

Fridge Food can help track food dates and surface reminders, but you remain responsible for deciding whether food is safe to eat. You must check product labels, storage instructions, use-by dates, allergen warnings and official guidance.

Do not eat food after its use-by date. App-generated dates and reminders are not guarantees that food is safe.

5. Nutrition and health information

Nutrition values, calorie targets, macro targets, recipe information and health-related suggestions are for general wellbeing only. Fridge Food does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, personalised clinical nutrition or allergy management advice.

6. Allergies and intolerances

Fridge Food may let you enter allergies or intolerances to personalise recipes and warnings. This feature is not a substitute for checking labels, ingredient lists, cross-contamination warnings, restaurant information and official allergy alerts.

7. User content and data you add

You may add food names, quantities, dates, nutrition values, recipes, brands, barcodes and other information. You confirm that you have the right to add this information and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

8. Third-party data and services

Fridge Food may use third-party data sources such as product databases, barcode lookup services, supermarket links or retailer websites. Third-party data may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed or unavailable. If Fridge Food links you to a retailer, your purchase is with that retailer, not RACKET LTD.

9. AI and automated features

Fridge Food may use AI or automated logic to recognise food, estimate nutrition, classify items, suggest recipes or prioritise alerts. AI output can be wrong. Check important information before relying on it.

10. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the app, attempt to access another user's data, disrupt the service, upload harmful content or bypass security controls.

11. Account deletion

You can request deletion of your Fridge Food account and app data from inside the app or by contacting support@ourownracket.com.

12. Availability and changes

We may update, change, suspend or discontinue features. We will try to avoid unnecessary disruption, but we do not guarantee that every feature will always be available or error-free.

13. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Subject to that, Fridge Food is provided for general household support and we are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate user data, failure to check labels or official guidance, third-party data errors, retailer changes or using the app as medical, dietetic or food safety advice.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless consumer protection law gives you mandatory rights in another UK jurisdiction.
